Check if your utility offers subsidized audits if you haven’t already

Probably attic insulation.

We used Home Energy Medics a few years ago. They were pricey but did a great job.

About two years ago, we used them for an energy audit and subsequent removal/replacement of attic insulation. We were happy with the price and the work that was performed. Updating the insulation made a noticeable difference in our house—we also had cold spots that were reduced and the temperature felt more even when moving between floors (as opposed to dropping noticeably when you went upstairs).

Our circa 1995 house has so many cold pockets. I imagine we need insulating, but I'm not sure where to start. I've seen mixed reviews on Comfenergy. Anyone have recent experience with them (or can recommend others?) Western FFX.
