We are calling around to get quotes, but curious if anyone else has done this recently and could share estimates/hassle? We have a front porch with a tiny crawlspace so I'm struggling to figure out how this would be done (or if it is done by tearing up our finished basement).
Have 1-2 other structural engineers draw up their own reports. We got 3 reports done and each was very different from the other. Gave us a full picture. Also helical spheres tend to be over recommended around here. I wouldn’t assume you need them until you have multiple PEs affirming that.
