Dark, straight leg jeans out, ratty, holes, stained (paint, grease, god knows what else) when doing house hold stuff/chores/work

My husband only wears LL Bean jeans that are in as good as new shape around the house. For other errands, he wears trousers.

Mine wears fitted jeans occasionally. Normally when we go out he puts together an outfit, typically tailored trousers, a button down shirt or polo, a belt that matches the shoes and typically a felt or straw hat, depending on the season. Typically wears Robert Graham, Burberry, Brooks Brothers and Tommy Bahama.

Ratty old jeans that are falling off and apart. Finally had to have a conversation about the ones that were so ratty they were basically missing a backside on one side and boxers were in full view.
