^ oops sorry, meant to say that if I were to buy just one, it would be the Yoto!

We’ve had a tonie and Yoto for 2 years. Kids are currently 2 and 4. The 2 year old prefers the Yoto. Not for the cards, but for the radio and podcast! The music is actually enjoyable for adults too. It includes songs like Last Christmas, by Wham! Our 2 year old recently began having the attention span to listen to the Tonies songs but it gets less use.

Our older child liked the Tonies (that was our first purchase) and still listens to a Dora Tonie occasionally. But she was more into the Yoto. She loved the Sesame Street songs at 2 and 3. Unfortunately she hasn’t gotten interested in the story cards. We started letting her watch a lot of TV when her brother was a baby and of course she prefers that.

If I were to pick just one, it would be the Tonie. My kids used it more, the cards are cheaper than the Tonies, the radio and podcast are great, and it’s far more convenient for travel.

My 9 year old got a Yoto maybe 4 years ago and still listens to stories on it every night.

We like the range of material and the fact that you can make your own cards.

We have a Yoto and my kids love it. The big advantage of Yoto, if I recall, is that it's easier to make your own cards. I've made my kids a lot of cards of good music, so I recommend that.

Mini yoto! We use it in the car alot as well as the house. Got when my child was 2 and he is now 3. The cards are easier to manage than the figures. He keeps them in my old wallet. You can record your own cards too.

We had Tonies for our younger starting around 3 and Yoto (eventually for both) starting at 5. Toniebox is easier for very little ones than the Yoto, but Yoto has more content for older kids

Definitely Yoto. It has a much wider range of stories/music/material. The cards and card holder makes it very easy to organize. My kid has been a daily Yoto listener for about 5 years.

Tonie if you’re more plugged into the Disney universe. We got a Yoto for our Daniel Tiger loving kid.

We have a Tonie. Got it at age 2 and my kid is now 8 and still loves it. Yoto has a wider range of material and people with older kids lean to Yoto, but my kid has always loved the figurines of the Toniebox and at age 8 would still pick the Tonie over the Yoto.

For kids aged 2 or 4 years old?

What would you suggest?

They both love music and stories.
