The yetis are actually a good bottle but I think opening is often a little of a problem when you are in games.

Owalas are a good choice but you just have to watch for mold that builds up pretty easily.

The Gatorade suggested by PP is a good choice in my opinion because opening is a short quick twist and you get max water out of it. But with gear like ice hockey it is a little bit troublesome.

My teen actually like his hydroflask or cheaper sibling Thermoflask and ours came with both caps. The straw and the twist cap. Worked well for his games of basketball and ice hockey and he tends to use the straw one more. He bites on the straw a bit so there are teeth bite marks but it’s very very hard and won’t be easily destroyed and will last a few more years for sure. The straw opening is big enough so there is good bit of water flow.

The cheap Gatorade water bottles are really popular with boys in middle and high school. Girls seem to be more into owala hydroflask etc

Maybe dumb question but I don’t have kids and my nephew wants a new water bottle. He has yeti and he was venting that it always falls and slips out of his hand. Is there a good water bottle boy/teens like at this age that I can get without me asking him directly? Thx for any recommendations. He plays baseball and basketball.
