Williams is a pretty easy admit at our school if you have the test scores.

Irrelevant. OP was asking for ED unhooked.

I am talking about ED and unhooked students...I don't know what about this you felt was irrelevant.

Really think it's a waste of time and effort to apply to a tiny school like WASP unhooked TBH.

Couldn’t disagree more. My daughter was admitted to Williams, Amherst and Bowdoin unhooked last year in RD. She attends one and most of her friends on campus are the same.

+1 Our school’s Scoir has a clearly delineated stat line for admission to Williams and Amherst. Once you’re above a certain threshold, you’re in.

First they are test optional, and I thought they are holistic review... This post doesn't make sense.

DP: I think the previous poster meant to say it's a waste of time to apply to these small schools ED unhooked, as ED slots tend to be taken by athletes, children of donors, and FGLI applicants. RD, some unhooked kids will be accepted (though the odds remain small).
