Who are these people saying give him a notice? It has been there for 6 months. He doesn’t need a reminder… he doesn’t need anything because he left. Toss it all.

For the same reason that lots of women move into the man’s place. It’s cheaper than maintaining two residences.

Op I agree you should send him a notice that it will be on the front step porch and available for pick up until x date at which time it will be thrown away.

This is the way.

It’s bad karma to just trash it without some sort of final warning. I’d give him a text and put him on a 7-10 day shot clock to get it out.

I would donate if it’s something valuable

Then bury the ashes in a cemetery at midnight under a full moon.

Don’t just throw it away, burn it.

This is a good intention, but it will probably backfire. He’ll blame you for putting it outside when he didn’t have a chance to pick it up and now it’s your fault.

Just put it in the dumpster. The only thing I would say is if it’s art artwork he made maybe give them the option to pick it up unless it sucks in which case - dumpster

What art? Personalized art? Don't be petty. Ship it to him or at the very least write to him with a drop dead date to make arrangements.

My BF and I split over 6 months ago, he moved out. For context, he's a massive procrastinator and overall super lazy.

He left some stuff at my place - art, clothes, books, etc. Can I go ahead and throw it all out? I feel like 6 months is plenty of time to pick it up without needing to be reminded.
