Ha! That was my thought.

OP, Veep is the more insightful look into the current state of government.

Who votes based on a fictional TV show?

Are you drunk or just crazy?

Trump ranks along with Mussolini as a doofus with unlimited power kissing the a$$ of dictators. May he meet the fate.

I’m more worried about the East Wing and the gaping hole in the side of the White House Trump has left. He fired the architect and the project seems to be at a stand still. I think he’s lost interest, like a child.

I was reminded of the smug arrogance of the main characters. Young hipster democrats, so certain of the moral clarity of their cause, running circles around those stodgy old republicans. Moving seamlessly from one rapid fire conversation to the next. President Bartlett, proceeding with firmness in the right as God gives him to see the right.

I hope Netflix keeps this show available for the foreseeable future, and that Amazon prime and Hulu make it available as well.

Because it gives everyone a fantastic reason to vote GOP.

You understand it is a TV show and not real life, right? Or maybe you don't. You probably thought "The Apprentice" was real life too. Sad.

I'm sure OP is also triggered by reruns of MASH

It’s 2025. The GOP is now the party of smug arrogance. Enjoy!

I'll tell you what it does for me -- it makes me nostalgic for when the GOP was an actual political party.

The numbers in the show are hilarious.

Social security as a $400 billion budget item, presidential candidates with a $54 million war chest.

Some fun cameos — Jane Lynch is a reporter in Season Two, episode One
