Stubborn in an understatement OP.

He’s a total selfish AHole with piss poor communication and conflict resolution skills.

This will only get worse, as he turns any comment, request, or question of yours into an argument where he attacks you personally. And nothing ever gets resolved. That’s his power and control angle too.

When DH and I have a misunderstanding he acts like a huge baby. In the moment there’s no option to talk it out. Even if it’s clear to me it’s a simple misunderstanding that’s occurring. He always chooses the nuclear option. Pouts for days. It’s so frustrating and such a waste of time. But it’s like he simply cannot think straight when upset.
