The sicko accused of decapitating his Miss Switzerland finalist wife, cutting out her womb and pureeing her body parts in a blender while watching YouTube videos has been formally charged with her murder, Swiss officials announced.

"The former beauty queen, Kristina Joksimovic, 38, was found dismembered in her home in February 2024 in Binningen, near the city of Basel in Switzerland, and her husband allegedly admitted to strangling her.

Her husband, only identified as Thomas in Swiss media reports due to privacy laws, was hit with murder charges Wednesday after the Basel-Landschaft Public Prosecutor’s Office concluded its investigation."

This is really scary. Looks like they had young kids too. There seems to be an uptick in men killing their wives recently. This kind of news makes me never want to be in a relationship again. How can a woman protect her self from becoming entangled with this type of man?

Both men and women kill their partners, though because of physical differences men tend to be a lot more violent about it.

Women are more likely to be killed by a current or former romantic partner than by any other person. In the US, about half of female homicide victims are killed by partners.

I’ve been watching the trial of Brian Walshe in Dedham Massachusetts this week and last. He claims his wife ‘just died in bed’ and he panicked and dismembered her and put her in various area dumpsters because he was afraid he would be blamed.

Of course he researched divorce and murder and making a body disappear and all kinds of other incriminating things so his narcissistic personality deluded him into thinking he was smarter than cops (and frankly cops aren’t that smart) and they’d never find these bad searches on his young son’s tablet.

I watch a lot of true crime, and it skews really heavily toward men killing women and most often their girlfriends or wives or exes of each. Whenever I get feeling I should have married one of the guys I pushed away, I watch some true crime and feel better. They are so very often a great guy who nobody would have thought would have murdered the wife.

Men frighten and sicken me in equal measure.
