Most security staff and admin Ive been around would say that fights and problems occur more on Mondays/after breaks because tension from things that happened over the weekend boils over when kids are back in each other's faces again

While there are fights in high school they are very rare. Such that it would be hard to tell if it increases before holidays without pulling several years of data.

In HS where there are fights- I know not all schools have them, but I. hS where there are fights. Is it standard for number of fights to increase a day/week at HS during weeks before holidays? I am taken aback by number and wi Geri g if this is typical when school about to be out- kind of like typical for ER rooms to be busy on NYE. Thoughts?
