If you are suggesting fly into Casablanca and leave after seeing the mosque, that's different.

If it were me I'd go to Aspen but we like to ski.

I find that London works well for a long weekend because it is a pretty easy trip from here, and a nonstop flight. There's always something new to do in London even if you've been many times. Logistically I guess the same is true for Iceland, but given that it is more of an outdoor venue the lack of light would be an issue.

What about Palm Springs if you want warm? Or Palm Beach or Naples in FL.

January is hard. Me personally? I'd do a short Celebrity cruise or something warm and easy. A resort in Florida. Figure out where you can get non stop flights. It's just not enough time for the options you have listed.

Personally, Thursday to Monday isn't long enough for Europe for me. I've done it, but unless there is something very specific (concert, party, etc) I want to attend it is just not that enjoyable between the travel time and time change. Id probably do Puerto Rico, Caribbean, or Mexico.

Based in the DC area, and looking at taking a kid-free trip with DH from a Thursday night to a Monday in late January.

It could be international to somewhere cold or warm.

I was looking at Paris or Iceland, but I’m open to other suggestions.
