You're past the point of fruit. Now is the time for glycerin suppositories and a lot of miralax.

Drink hot water with lemon, along with all the other things.

My kid ended up at the er once due to pain from bad constipation. They said especially P fruits - peach, plum/prune, pear. They put him on a several day regimine with miralax etc.

Cape aloe will do it.

Oh no no no, OP. If you don't want to end up in the ER, you need colonoscopy prep level Miralax. When you take it, please make sure to replenish your electrolytes (this is why Gatorade is a frequent recommendation for coloprep).

Hope you get relief soon.

At this point, I would take XLax- whatever the max dosage is.

Are you moving enough? Are you walking, running, etc?

Sitting around does me no favors when it comes to constipation. I agree with others who said you must drink a lot of water.

Have you struggled with constipation in the past or is this a totally new thing since being on the GLP? Just trying to understand if it's something the shot exacerbated vs caused.

+1 to drinking LOTS of water. Try Nuun hydration tablets. Apples and berries also help me a lot. A friend swears by magnesium to manage non-GLP-induced chronic constipation.

Drink lots of water. More than you think you need.

I am on week 6 of semiglutide. Constipation has been manageable until this week by taking 3 Metamucil caplets. But this week it hasn't touched it and I haven't gone in days. I tried a stool softener yesterday AM. Nothing. Took miralax last night. Nothing. Drank coffee this AM (typically surefire for me.) Nothing. Ate a pear and a piece of seeded grain toast for breakfast. Nothing. Argh.

Not only am I uncomfortable, but I have "gained" 3lbs this week. I clearly need a better regime to avoid this in the future.
