Think of a cute anecdote about a time when your child was curious or clever and tie that back to them having the opportunity to learn and explore further at the school. Note something specific about why the school is a good fit for your child and your family. Good luck!

Paint a picture of your kid - a true but positive one (you want your rose colored glasses on). Don't twist or turn things too much to match what you know about the school. Instead highlight actual, natural overlaps. You don't want to paint a picture of a kid who is actually not yours and end up with a poor fit.

Talk about their interests (loves swimming or art or theater or horses) and skills (follows directions well, plays well with others, etc). Be sure to write about what you are looking for in a school environment and how that aligns with the school that you are applying to.
