If the mother is a widow or dad is deployed military, they’ll understand. Otherwise, it’s probably not a family structure they support.

Their website repeatedly misspells the name of their math curriculum. Pass. (I teach at a conservative Christian classical school.)

After 20 yrs of full time wife, mother to 4 and working woman... I'd be delighted if my better half decided to embrace a head of household role so I could be a consultant instead of driving the ship constantly... but maybe that's just me.

According to MSA it's a for profit school. This model seems to have a higher than average fail rate in this area. And there are so many more established for profit, non for profit, and religious schools in this area. I would have many governance and offering questions before risking tuition dollars there, especially if all those advertised college admitted students came from just the Arlington campus as suggested on their website and seemingly central to their regional Niche ranking. If so, they outperformed the initially well-resourced and now failed Whittle which drew is some high-quality local teachers.

Seems like a fine school if your family is an ultra conservative one and also if your kid does well in a very small school environment.

There isn’t any corresponding part of their statement of faith about the importance of mothers. The statement, in context, seems unusually sexist.

I’ve looked a couple times bc of their classical curriculum. Toured the old location in FFX prior to the Arlington location. I was impressed by the admin and teachers I met. Never made the move but it was under consideration. I know the high school seems to have impressive college placement but it has something unusual going on with Chinese students that come and board. I do follow it on social media bc interested in its growth.

Are there any red flags? What are they? Please comment if you have had experience. Looking into elementary school
