If you love Andrea Gibson, you will love the documentary. It is just more of them ans there are funny moments and it’s uplifting to see someone really succeed in the truest sense of the word, in the ways that matter - in love, doing what they love, being recognized for their gift.

I’m struggling because I love Andrea Gibson and lost a friend ovarian cancer this year. It’s something I really want to watch. not ready to break apart. Have a feeling it would be healing.

I just finished watching this and came here to see if anyone else had posted to the about it. I first heard of Andrea Gibson, who was nonbinary, after their death in July. They were Colorado’s poet laureate, and their spoken word poetry is amazing.

I wasn’t sure if I could bring myself to watch the documentary because I am a long-time ovarian cancer survivor myself. But that only made this beautiful film more poignant for me.

This is an incredibly beautiful documentary about poet Andrea Gibson and their wife, who is also a poet. The document follows their relationship amid Gibson’s treatment for ovarian cancer. You have to be in the mood because it will make you cry but it is filled with many beautiful moments. On Apple+
