Wants a small school (open to liberal arts colleges) anywhere in the Northeast corridor or even further out if close to a major airport. Intended STEM major, probably bio or chem, maybe environmental. Doesn't care about athletics. What would you recommend?

At our private school, students with a 3.3 get into liberal arts colleges like Oberlin, Skidmore, and Dickinson. If from a public school, I’d suggest options such as Juniata, Wooster, Susquehanna, etc. Somewhere like St. Mary’s College of MD may be a good fit for your student (they are strong in environmental and bio programs). I like the suggestion of the Loyolas, as well as other mid-size Jesuit institutions, which are within reach for B/B+ students.
