Among other things, Tesla is an insurance company. However, I understand that they are losing money with it. They do appear to have some sort of save drivers award program:

We use State Farm's Drive Safe and Save program and have received significant discounts. I don't think they actually use the data that is collected for anything. The discounts seem to be based solely on mileage. Therefore, if you are low mileage drivers, you will probably get big discounts.

Geico had a partnership where they offered a save driver test. I took the test, paid $20 for it, and then presented it to them.
Geico said that I was not eligible for the discount. Not sure why.
It's nearly impossible to lower car insurance, at least in DC. I was told that I had to pay to fix other people's cars.
I cut spending everywhere else has even switching hasn't helped. I still pay $2000 a year for a newish small Japanese car. Never had accidents or tickets in 30 years.
