State Farm says the data will never cause your rates to increase, you get a 10% discount for signing up and you could save as much as 30%.
We are very low mileage drivers so it seems like a no-brainer to save a lot of money.
What has been your experience?
We use State Farm's Drive Safe and Save program and have received significant discounts. I don't think they actually use the data that is collected for anything. The discounts seem to be based solely on mileage. Therefore, if you are low mileage drivers, you will probably get big discounts.
