Turkey Clause is also a Championship meet for PVS. It is an opportunity for swimmers that can't make KLI that year.

Winter Classic is not as fast, but serves the same purpose as KLI for teams who attend it. There is fast competition at the A final, but it is not as deep in the outside lanes of A or the B final. No C final there. Frankly, I'm glad for that -- my kid got six finals there and might get half that at KLI. I'm glad they got the racing experience.

It’s definitely harder to final this year than in years past in the 13-14 and Open events. Most 13-14 events will require a sectional cut to make the A final. That is incredibly fast.
Some A finals will be Futures and above. My swimmer is .5 from a jr nationals cut and it’s iffy if they will make A finals in the event.
