Inn at Little Washington, Salamander, and a little farther afield are The Tides Inn, Williamsburg Inn, maybe something nice in Gettysburg.

My husband and I would like to fit in a one night getaway over winter break while my mom is here with the kids. Ideally ~50 miles from D.C. We've already done Annapolis over the years. Thanks for ideas and hotels recs.
