I'm just really rattled by my son saying "I just need some stuff with calories"
He scared the absolute shit out of me coming into my dark bedroom with just his phone, I heard the dogs barking but they know who he is and I just thought it was my daughter coming home from her job as a vet tech at an animal hospital where she works 4-midnight 3 days a week.
He said he didn't want to scare me and I just said, next time just open the door and yell MOM IT'S Me JOE instead of just creeping up the stairs. That would startle me but that's better than just silently entering the bedroom with a phone for light.
IDK we haven't done this before. I've never heard him say, "I just need calories for right now"
Like that's crazy to me and I'm typing here instead of unloading on his dad at near midnight because he already thinks I am crazy
