I get hung up on this sort of thing too but once the room is all furnished, your brain is going to tune out the smoke detectors.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a specific hardwired smoke detector that looks more modern, less busy looking, and a true white? All the ones I can find are grayish and look bad next to my very white ceiling
