The thought of getting back with my college gf actually fills my mouth with barf.

Dated thru college and a little beyond, so 5-6 years total. We reconnected at about 55, I was divorced and she was widowed. We moved forward slowly and reestablished our friendship. The chemistry was still there and we became an official couple. That was 15 years ago and couldn’t be happier.

Yes, my one that got away reached out to me last week asking for another shot.

We didn’t work out because 1. He was significantly older (10 years, which is a big deal for 25 and 35) 2. I wanted kids, he didn’t and 3. I knew I’d be bored with his lifestyle. I was 25 and still wanted to go out and have fun.

I don’t know how it would work out now. I’ve had my kids, so that issue is solved. He seems to have actually loosened up quite a bit and is a bit more fun. Also, I’ve been dating someone else for 3 months, which is long enough I can’t date both but short enough that I could end things to pursue old flame. Not sure what to do.
