I have a beach house, and this makes me cringe. You need to rinse everyone and everything off before you enter the house! No exceptions.

We brush off and always get a place with an outdoor shower, but sand is inevitable.
The main issue we've had when our kids were younger was the sand that we couldn't get out of their bathing suits (unless they totally strip in the outdoor shower- which we did sometimes, but it can be tough with a lot of kids). I have to think that the plumbing in those beach houses need a lot of maintenance.

How much and are you dragging in? Change that.
Most Airbnbs in beach locations have a broom and dust pan at minimum. Some may have vacuums. You are expected to clean up after yourself. Or stop track so much damn sand inside.

We treat Air BnBs like if they were our own house. Clean off outside the best you can and take off shoes when you walk in. If there is any noticeable amount of sand, we’d sweep it up. Normal wear and tear amount we’d leave for clean up crew.

I don't Airbnb my beach house but we have an outdoor shower and everyone can rinse their feet off in the shower (or take a shower). We really don't get much sand in the house.
Airbnbs do not come with daily cleanings but I'm sure you could arrange it if you want to pay for it.

We rinse our feet and shoes at the outside shower and shake towels. Every house/condo that we’ve rented has had a vacuum or broom if we need it. Takes a few minutes.

Why wouldn't you shake out your towels and shoes and stuff outside the door? Yes, I'd shake out everything in the beach bag over the trash and sweep up any errant sand. Sweeping takes two minutes.

We have a condo in Rehoboth. It’s not walking distance to the beach but there is a pool.
Our cleaner does a good job between rentals but if you want sand swept during your stay you use the vacuum we provide or the dustpan and broom.

Anytime we rented a beach house there was an outdoor shower or we would rinse at the showed/foot sprayers at the beach. But that was pre-air b and b nonsense and through legit rental agencies.

Curious as I’ve never gotten an air bnb but we collect so much sand from the beach to our hotel rooms every summer. Housekeeping is something I elect to have and it helps with vacuuming and fresh towels, etc…
