Too late to help you today, but you need a hide-a-key or a combination style lock or at least a spare key left with a neighbor for the future.

Locksmiths are expensive, but can get you in if you want in badly enough to pay for it.

NP. My mom was an ER nurse. It depends on how busy he is. If he literally cannot walk to the front desk and drop off the keys because he’s taking care of patients, I’d be annoyed at the situation, but forgive him. If he “can’t” because he’s uncomfortable leaving the keys with someone, I’d be very annoyed.

DHs car is in the shop so I took him to work(hospital). He ended up having both our house keys on him. He texts me that he has it and now I’m locked out of our house. DH tells me to wait for his break (7:30 pm) and if not just hang out in the car (he gets out of work at 1am). He refuses to answer his phone or give the keys to someone else so I can get them.
