They only had 100 kids, I'm not sure anyone wants it. It's on that odd block of Edgewood where Cooper had its temporary location.

Board book is up. They are going to bless Harmony's move. ASPIRE stuff. Buried in the financial oversight discussion is that Capital Village is planning to voluntarily relinquish its charter as of the end of the current school year.
This is why I do these posts! The PCSB loves to bury embarrassing outcomes like this, so they can claim transparency but make it hard to find. Drives me crazy.
How much public funding was spent operating this failing school for 5 years?

I did see that, and I have no idea. I don't have any special knowledge or connections, I just like to provide a narrative here because the PCSB website makes it hard to follow what's going on.

Vote on Harmony's move to a larger building in Edgewood. Their doofus idea is a traffic win for the other schools on T St NE.
Discussion of M&A policy, ASPIRE grace period, and school finance monthly report.
No reviews or renewals, which is a little surprising to me because this year's list is unusually long, and they said they want to get this stuff done before lottery time. It will be a busy January and February I guess!
