Not OP and a current old Accord driver here. When we get older, at least one (eventually both) of our cars will be an SUV. Way easier to get in and out of when your older.

I hated the RAV we had to rent when our car was in the shop. Boxy, hard to see things. Rent one even for a day if you haven't driven them to be sure you like it.

I would buy a Toyota. Choice A means Ford, which is unreliable. Choice B means lease, which is so dumb.

I’m not crazy about either of your choices.
What about a CPO RAV4? Maybe a little closer to 30K but you get the Toyota quality plus the warranty you like.

Choice B. If you've been driving Choice A for 3 years, 30k miles, you're just on the cusp of needing tires, brakes, 30k mile tuneup, etc. that's going to run you a few thousand dollars in the next few years.
