I believe Wesleyan and Bowdoin reveal actual scores on CDS of all students who took the tests, even if not submitted.

To clarify something, published score ranges in the Common Data Set are for enrolled students, not admitted students. Admitted student score ranges are higher than for enrolled and not necessarily indicative of the enrolled class.

Adopting a proposal like this would work directly against both racial equity and economic justice.

Both my kids started at 1500. Second kept taking and in last seating got a 1570. I think for most kids the range of scores is much smaller than op thinks. In any case, Colkege board reports percentiles based on single seatings, not super scores.

Test 1, 750+680 = 1430
Test 2, 650+730 = 1380
Superscore, 750+730 = 1480
sorry, forgot to add the third test. 650 and 780.
but you get the point.
My own kid's average test scores were good, but not super.

Test 2, 650+730 = 1380
Superscore, 750+730 = 1480
My assumption was that he took it more than 2 times, but those results were the lowest of the set.

OP, you can also check a college's CDS from 2020-21, when tests were required at most colleges.
Reported scores are superscores, which is a separate issue.
