Boat parade & Scottish walk in old town Alexandria.

I'd go to old town or Clifton instead and plan ahead for next year.

Old Town Scottish Christmas Parade is this weekend!

The Clifton parade will also have horses. I think it's more fun, because they and their riders (or unmounted handlers) are decked out in holiday-themed stuff rather than in formal foxhunting attire.

There is a parade in Clifton. Also the musical holiday performance at Wolf Trap Filene center.

I planned to take my upper elementary kids to the Middleburg parade Saturday, and just now realized parking is paid and sold out 😫. We have never been before, have only been in the area for a couple of years. Is there any free parking even if it’s a further walk?
