Never understood why they couldn’t offer a much cheaper French trip to Montreal.

The Chinese and Spanish trips were about $4k and the French one may have been higher (but less than $5k). That includes all expenses (flights, lodging, all meals, transportation, activities, etc) for eleven days in China, France or Costa Rica.
Assistance is available but I think limited to kids who qualify for free lunch and are on the honor roll. So most Deal families won’t qualify and have to foot the full cost on their own.

It is my understanding that there was assistance available last year, but still not enough for everyone who wanted to go.
