Just as an odd idea, why can’t you do it at your own house? I would hesitate to let my daughter attend this.

Maybe dad or beloved aunt or uncle could take the boys to a hotel for the evening and let your dd have the house to herself with her friends?

Airbnb sounds fine for 5 girls hanging out.

A hall/banquet may be way too large?

A hotel room would have the same premise but we’d be in such a small space?

Is there a middle ground sized space between?

You could get a suite at a hotel.

+1 The AirBnB website specifically asks the number of guests when making a reservation. So if you're inviting 5 kids and the property allows 8 people total, great--but make sure you check and report the guests accurately so you don't run the risk of a neighbor complaining or the owner showing up and seeing a party and having your kid's party getting cancelled midway through the event.

You should look for an event or party space, or hotel for pool, etc. Not air bnb

Airbnb bans parties.

I’m not clear what you’re renting it for. Is this a party? In any case, rent it for 1-2 entire days — whatever you need to do to cover the time that you actually want plus cleanup. It sounds like you want a shorter time period for a lower fee. That won’t work for most hosts who will have to clean up after you — but won’t be able to rent the space to anyone else for the time that you won’t be using.

What exactly does she want to do? Maybe there’s a better venue for it than an AirBNB.

Most rentals don’t allow you to go in till three or 4 PM. Is that OK with your kid? Of course you can’t do it for a few hours like a prostitute house. You will have to pay for the entire day/evening. It’s one rate.

Exactly this. Check in at typical 3pm, party 4pm-10,pm then you and DD stay over or go home to sleep, and clean up in the morning before checkout time.

Rent it for the night, but look at check in times as many wont be available until 4pm or so, in which case you may need to rent for 2 nights to have the space for a full day.

Is there such a thing?

DD doesn’t want to have a sleepover but wants to rent an Airbnb for the day. We live in a row house and she has younger brothers (11 and 7) at home so she doesn’t want to have it here either.
