Gift card to their fav "hang out / eat at place" -- Chipotle, wherever.

I am assuming that both sons need to fund their own outside school/home lifestyles -- e.g., they pay when eating out with friends, going to movies with buddies, etc.

PP here. We also always give books. If we can't think of something new that we think he'd like in terms of novels, we look for a cool coffee table book in an area of interest.

I highly recommend having them use a gift list maker with links. My ds put stuff on there I'd never have thought about (some sort of work out straps, shoes I'd not have thought was in, specific workout clothes, a non-smart watch...)

I have two boys--a sophomore in college and a sophomore in high school. Both are fit, sporty and pretty typical in the types of stuff they like (athletic clothing, gadgets). I would be appreciative of any ideas people would like to offer. thanks
