this means nothing. did you know entry grads are getting paid average 150k (110k base, 30 to 60k bonus) at these firms? grossly overpaid for what they.

It would be more interesting if they froze hiring. Freezing these inflated salaries mean nothing

It’s not exactly an AI problem. The availability of AI just makes people realize the so-called consulting has little value add.

You don’t see this happening in law. Attorneys’ work product has real values. AI makes legal work more efficient, but can’t replace the human.

This exactly. Management consulting should’ve been fazed out decades ago. The mediocre upper middle class will find some other career, but this provides nothing of quality to our society other than landing spot for hesitant, directionless elite-educated grads.
