He started at community college and is hopefully a resident by the time he transfers to state school or even his last year in CC.
DC Tag is too much paperwork.
He got his healthcare in VA and I don't need him to file as HH.

I’m confused. Your DC is taking a gap year living in VA? If that’s right do you already have acceptances to VA schools that you can defer that let you switch to instate tuition?

Not quite sure what you are saying, but it's a federally funded program.

I think they’re saying that the money goes back to states in the form of out of state tuition. We’ve used it for both of our kids. The money went to Kentucky and Pennsylvania public schools.

Yes, this is PP and I wasn't clear. States like it because it is federal funding that goes directly to the states in the form of tuition to state schools.

THey don't "hate DC". They are trying to reduced the 38 trillion in debt racked up by democrats. We can't continue this way. So, no, it's absurd to increase DC Tag now. Every bill to do this has failed.

You’re so cute when you’re wrong.

Modern Monetary Theory anyone? Republicans secretly play it and accuse Democrats of it - it originated from a Republican Economist. Democrats want to openly play it but get slammed with "common sense" house hold budget analogies.

This is one of the stupidest economic theories out there. It only works if people want the US dollar. People can't imagine a time when that won't be the case, but it's coming sooner than you think.

Yes, this is a problem. It is dependent upon the world accepting the dollar as a reserve currency. Japan, Germany and the UK can’t do it.

She has issued this press release every year for a decade. She is useless and should have retired about then.

I heard there will be an increase to $15000.
Bill by Eleanor Holmes Norton. Is this true? When would it start?
