I love it. I think the oval is great in the larger sizes, it tends to fit better for large roasts and things that tend to be longer than round.

Only downside is that it's heavy and awkward to store.

Looking at Black Friday Le Creuset deals. I currently have a 5 qt Dutch oven but find it isn't large enough when making things like short ribs for a larger group. Anyone have an oval 8 qt Dutch oven? Any downsides?
