Why do you need an 8x10 plastic rug? This is 100% polyester.

100% wool will cost more but you won’t throw it away in 3 years.

If you’re fine with a more disposable rug, get something from Amazon like Loiloi (however you spell it) or rugs.com and throw in your budget and size, coupon stack etc. just look out for the 100% polyester

Could you say more about this? What type of backing do you look for?

“Hand knotted” or flat woven. It’s not about hands vs machines, it’s just about not having glue or burlap.

Wool, hand knotted is the most durable and cleanable rug you can get imo. Synthetics get abraded and then they hold dirt.

Take a screenshot of the rug and do a google image search – a bunch of similar rugs popped up when I did this just now.

Tried Home Goods (two different locations), but no luck.

You linked to a very bland gray rug, so it shouldn’t be difficult.

Literally any carpet store will have solid gray or cream or blue.

It's not actually a solid color, but I guess that carpeting stores have patterns as well. I assumed that would be expensive for a small size, but worth checking out for sure.

A rug cleaning company can clean it

I need a new rug and really like this one that I saw at Crate and Barrel - https://www.crateandbarrel.com/turin-performance-handwoven-navy-blue-area-rug-8x10/s187271 - but am not sure that I need (or want) to spend $1200 for an 8 x 10 rug. Does anyone have suggestions on where I could go to find something similar? I have tried Home Goods and World Market, but they didn't carry anything in a similar style. I'd rather not buy something online because I need to get the color right. I also prefer being able to see how the rug feels. Appreciate any suggestions, especially for NOVA, but am open to DC and MD as well. Thanks!
