Loved the book below — resilience of the human spirit.

Lottery by Patricia Wood: This novel focuses on Perry Crandall, a man with an IQ of 76 who wins a multimillion-dollar jackpot. The story explores how his newfound wealth brings out the best and worst in his family and community, testing loyalty and trust.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

Pride and Prejudice.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. It isn't really a "religious" book, but faith is a theme.

It’s been a rough fall and I am not a winter person. I feel myself slipping into a seasonal slump already. Please send your recs for inspirational but not religious books. I generally like lighthearted books.
