My ob told me to have my husband and parents ( main childcare) do it despite if being less than 10 years as they would have significant time with infant- they didn't repeat it for our 2nd kid who was born 2.5 years later

It’s 10 years generally, but efficacy wanes overtime. I know someone who had whooping cough but was at year 6 or 7 post-booster. They were a young adult and said it was a miserable experience that lasted for weeks.

They are fine. It's 10 years.

Thanks! That’s what I am asking.

It's supposed to be ok 10 years unless you get a dirty puncturing wound and need the T.

Grandparents were re-vaccinated either 4.5 years ago (one side) or 2.5 years ago when previous grandchildren were born. The family member who has been the longest since vaccination had theirs 7.5 years ago.

Do any of them need to be vaccinated? Everyone is up to date on covid and flu, and all routine vaccines.
