This was in a fast casual restaurant during lunch time and I was hungry and cranky and had been waiting in line for 20 minutes. Do not eff with me.

When I taught English in China, there was no concept of a line. Everyone just crowded around to get to the front.

I used to do this in college at the Kroger self checkout. There were 2 checkouts, everyone would form one line, I’d just hop in front of the second one.
People would yell like the PPs. I didn’t care. Didn’t try to argue with them. Just put on a ditzy blonde act and say “oh there’s usually two lines!” Yelling seems so unhinged. Applauding? I’ll take things that never happened for $500, Alex.
