I agree. She crushed it her first year - but none of those players were her recruits.

And it wasn't like Nahas winning his first year. He was instrumental in that program and had coached those players fo years (the few that were left) and won a national championship.

Aozasa has made some strange decisions recruiting. Maybe she was constricted by money. We'll find out these next few years...

No income tax in Texas vs ridiculous California.

Give a coach of that calibre the facilities, resources, 28 full rides and NIL money and she'll be able to bring in the players she wants. A lot of girls on the current roster and 2026/27 commits will suddenly be without a spot when she starts cleaning house.

What calibre? Looks like she got out of UCLA before it came crashing down. Check out this year’s recruiting class.

Another sellout jumping ship like a rat? Shocker!

When you say "this year's recruiting class", are you referring to the current Freshman? The incoming Freshman for next year? Or the recent 2027 commitments?

Texas. Announced earlier today, but rumored yesterday.

I honestly think her recruiting the past year or two was a bit suspect/different (or maybe genius). Really favors some international YNT players.

SEC players are built a bit differently so it will be interesting.

Stemming from curiosity and ignorance:

What compels someone to leave her $300K/year gig if you’re meeting/exceeding expectations?

Her arguments: I want to try something new

Just thought it was odd with so many people struggling to find a job and a privileged woman throwing something like that away.

That’s almost the same as the US president salary FYI
