Also, tofu is an insanely cheap source of protein, as well as being healthy and far better for the environment than meat, as well as not killing animals (and I say that as a meat eater). It's $1.35 at Aldi and maybe $2 at regular grocery stores.

We eat about half, and then we have half in the fridge for them to make lunches etc . . . If I'm making something like scrambled tofu that doesn't keep as well, then I'll make 3 boxes, or less if not everyone's eating it.
I also make things like tofu croutons for a salad, or a silken tofu pasta sauce, or tofu "french fries" as a side, to add protein to meals that also include meat, or alternate proteins. Then I'll use less.
Do you clean out the whole shed when you go shopping? Or Costco?
