If you dont have plans it would interfere with, say yes.

If your child does this regularly and there are not issues, then this week is no different than a weekend.

I would never be okay with 2 nights in a row. I wouldn’t care if it was at your house. DH had to work Wed. I have it off.

We stopped hosting sleepovers in middle school because of too much liability and trouble. DS didn’t go to any in HS and DD rarely goes to any now. We discourage them for the same reasons. Nothing good happens and they can hang out late, no need to sleep over. DD still goes to some but not often. Yes, I’d rather this weekend because there are more days to recover and we don’t have family coming into town.

Tuesday night with no school Wednesday wouldn’t bother me at all.

These are spur of the moment “can I sleepover at Larla’s tonight?” Moments typically on a Friday or Saturday. Often ending up being two nights in a row and expands into being a group of about 4-5 girls.

DD and Larla now want to sleepover after school, tomorrow night. Something about it being Thanksgiving week is bothering me but I have no real reason to say no.

How do you feel about these types of mid-week or holiday week sleepovers?

Her friend has a weird name.

Uh, if I can’t think of a good reason to say no, then I say yes.

Don’t overthink it.

If it’s a work night hard no.

No absolutely no.

We have plans to cook as a family on Wednesday, so I'd want my kid to stick with that plan. But if they could sleep over and be at our house by noon, I would be OK with that. If they've had a pattern of not being civil or awake the day after a sleepover, I'd say no. If Grandma was visiting I'd say no.

On the other hand, if you have no plans on Wednesday, then I'd say yes for sure.

2 nights in a row? Excessive and weird. Also, we would say no anyway because we don’t want crabby kids for thanksgiving.

Hell no. We don’t do sleepovers in high school - they sneak out or drink or smoke.

Sounds like fun. What's the issue?

If you don’t have other plans, it seems like this is equivalent to a weekend situation. I would make sure that she sleeps at home the night before any family plans.
