Smeal acceptance rate is single digit. Comparable to Wharton it not lower.

If in state for either, then the instate option bc a tippity top kid at either could have similar outcomes. If money is not an issue, definitely Ross, just don’t become a Rosshole.

think the top kids from both have comparable results. The UMich advantage is when you move down from that top tier of kids - just about all Ross kids do well, while some Smeal kids do wind up at (as PP said) at PWC in a cube doing audit work

I have a great finance-lax bro HS buddy who went to Mich. Great guy, got an amazing IB job out of college. Not sure how he pulled it off because he’s smart, but absolutely not a genius. He was flying around on a Gulfstream doing IPOs a couple years out of college. It was all very amusing to me and loved hearing about it. Plus he freaking loves Michigan football.

If he had gone to PSU he would’ve been be sitting in a cubicle doing audit work for PwC rooting for a team without a coach.
