Sorry I do t recall the exact details, it was over 15 years ago.
She took the medication exactly as directed for several months. She passed way several years ago so this is all the information I can recall. Medication stopped as soon as jaw problems appeared. She was not I it for too long.

Lifestyle: healthy weight all her life, never smoker, very rarely drank, no health problems and no medication prior to Fosamax. Retired teacher so never worked around environmental hazardness.
Even if there is a small chance of a negative side effect, someone has to get it. Look at negative side effects for others in your family. Thats the warning I got! Also be hyper aware of oral hygiene and make sure your fetal provider is aware of this medication.
