KG Group compounded prices are not low. They are making $$$. You can likely get better prices for actual Zepbound from Lilly Direct.

They are a legitimate group of nurse practitioners. They should be able to answer questions regarding the source of their compounded injections.

As previous poster mentioned find out what pharmacy they are getting the product from. Assuming this office is providing the product with appropriate storage methods upon delivery, the pharmacy is where to check for issues. A lot of the companies that offer compounded GLP all just seem to use the same pharmacies to obtain their supply. There are some big names one and smaller and you def want to make sure that they have the proper certification. Once it is handed over to the Goodman office all you can hope is that they are storing properly. It’s likely the same
You can get online so price is usually the biggest difference. However when you go online there is. It actually the middle man you have to rely on for storage - you get it delivered straight from the pharmacy.

I am a big fan of compounded GLP1s and have been using compounded for 10 months now, but I would not be ok with anywhere giving out pre-filled syringes. That's the problem here, not that it's compounded.

FWIW: When I went on Wegovy about a year and a half ago my doctor said she won't prescribe to compounding pharmacies. That the risk just isn't worth it. So I would not consider compounded sema.

Prices are dose dependent - higher dose, higher cost.

Additionally, semaglutide prices are all lower than tirzepatide.

can you ask what pharmacy they are from and research it? if not FDA approved, my understanding is that there are ingredients that have not been tested. out of curiosity, what are they charging op?

How safe is the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide given out at the Kelly Goodman (weight loss program) group?

Prefilled injections are distributed without any information on compounding source, expiration date etc. Yes, it is cheaper than name brand Ozempic and Zepabound. But, is it safe as it’s not regulated by the FDA?

They provide it to patients with a normal BMI.
