This.

I’d also go to my own country but only because I know the people personally.

This depends on what you want fixed and your ethnicity. South Korea is great (Taiwan has some good options too) but a lot of their doctors do their best work on Asian faces.

I'd go to see the Drs Maurizio and Roberto Viel in Dubai. I'd see Rebecca Treston in Dubai for skin care. They are the best. But for cheap and accessible, Bangkok.

IDK. Most of the nose jobs I see on movie starts are awful.

+1 Gangnam has a ton of plastic surgery centers, and people walk around with bandages on their faces with pride.

Someone I know told me that her friend goes to Korea to get all kinds of stuff done on her face, from seeing an aesthetician to plastic surgery.

Yes. South Korea of course. Look at Priyanka Chopra's latest. She is looking like a doll.

I would only consider Korea, but even then, I’m not sure how much experience they have operating on Western faces. It seems like US/Canada surgeons have the most experience by far with ethnic rhinoplasty, for example.

I would not. But I would recommend you only go somewhere where you understand the training, oversight, and credential process.

I find plastic surgeons in the US to be extremely pricey for mostly mediocre work- they seem behind other parts of the world in rhino (they can take big noses and make them small, that’s about it), facial rejuvenation (particularly under eye and fat repositioning), or at least that’s what I’m interested in.

If you were to do cosmetic work outside of the US, where would you go and why?
