Sadly not so. The school financial aid office said HPSP loans were to much work for them to use because they don't have staff or interest in working with the government and other than that they were waiting to see what the new law meant for students....not helpful at all.

Talk to the schools financial office. They have done the work and will know what your options are. There pay people to be experts in this stuff, call them.

What are folks using for Student Loans for Medical school for fall 2026. The big beautiful bill only allows borrowing of 50,000 per year totaling at 200,000. I would appreciate any assistance on this. When applying to College Ave. they get such a high interest rate even with a parent as a co-signer. Thanks for any help. I am looking at the total of these loans and they are very large. Trying to go about it in the best way possible.
