The intent is common sense. The actual wording of the amendments actually creates some challenges for the way the CIP is structured.

It seems to me that Burning Tree ES is another unnecessary capital project. There's enough space in the other schools in the Whitman cluster to reallocate those students.

Both of these things seem common sense to me:
- Not assuming the closure of a MS and an ES when that hasn’t been voted on
- Not funding construction of 2 ESs with declining enrollment and a pending boundary study

I do too. Takes guts to buck the superintendent in this way. He doesn't like to be bucked.
