Usually the heavy weight of the glass is sufficient to weigh it down on a level surface. Glue would look dirty and bad since glass is clear.

Somewhat similar to this. The base I have is like a center pedestal for an oval table. It does move if we put our hands on the glass

Padded vice style clips for attaching a glass top to a table. Will depend on the angle and such as to the style.

Could also drill the glass and use through type attachments, but it's risky if you don't do it correctly. Also can only be done with non-tempered glass.

Why do you need to attach? I've seen clear non-skid bumpers used in cases like this.

You need a glue that works on metal to attach the plastic to the metal. They can be suction cups or just plastic disks- if the glass is heavy enough the disks are enough with gravity.
