If in Virginia, Hidden Pond takes 13 year old volunteers for camps. She could do morning shifts. They have trainings in the spring. They also have animal care volunteers all year, but I'm not sure if there was a deadline to be involved for this school year.

Anyone have experience or suggestions. My DD will be home all summer with crew a.m. p.m. and she is going to be free around 8:30/9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. M-F, also free on weekends.

I am available to be with her for some local volunteer options if they need a chaperone before 16 years - any leads?

She loves books, reading with kids/seniors, Walking dogs... would love to find something she can do consistently over the summer and build some good experience and perhaps help out the community as well. I was wondering if there may be camps who need a little older helper. Or other programs.

Since she is only 13 she may be limited...
